Description
The solid bulk of the ancient Episcopal Seminary is now visible from the homonymous street, but only by entering can one perceive the enchantment and grandeur of this monumental complex that has recently returned to its former glory. Starting in 1698, various architectural phases took place in this place. Ludovico Perini, author of the first wing in 1713 and then in 1779, Ottone Calderari, an architect from Vicenza who completed thhis beautiful historic block of buildings. In addition to the extraordinary library you will admire, thanks to us, the amazing loggia with the ceiling frescoed by the Veronese painter Marco Marcola depicting the constellations of the Zodiac.
